Pigmentation needs a careful approach
Pigmentation has many causes, including sun exposure, hormones, inflammation and past breakouts. Some types respond well to in-clinic treatment, while others need a gentler approach or medical advice. That's why every plan at BARE SSKIN starts with an assessment.
Treatments that may be considered
Zena Algae Peel, Pigmentation & brightening ($449): a resurfacing treatment considered for superficial pigmentation. Allow approximately 7–10 days for recovery.
Medik8 Chemical Peel ($190): considered for uneven-looking tone.
BioRePeel (from $270): considered for tone and rejuvenation.
Sun protection matters
Daily sun protection is one of the most important parts of any pigmentation plan. Mikaylah will include it in your homecare recommendations.

Frequently asked questions
What's the best treatment for pigmentation?
It depends on the type and cause of your pigmentation. Mikaylah will assess your skin and recommend a suitable option, which may be a peel, Zena or a homecare-led approach.
Can pigmentation come back?
Pigmentation can return, particularly with sun exposure. Ongoing sun protection and homecare help maintain your results.
Do you treat melasma?
Melasma needs a careful approach. Suitability is assessed individually, and Mikaylah may suggest seeing your GP or a dermatologist.
